Cat Needs is a sculptor and installation artist based in South London and a graduate of Camberwell College of Arts.
She has been interested in queer space for the past few years, specifically using queer theory to digest the interaction between queerness and art. This has led towards ‘Growing Sideways Projects’ - a FLINTA arts organisation which she co-runs with artist Jesse Buergel. Growing Sideways Projects creates oppertunities for upcoming FLINTA artists to exhibit work, fascilitate workshops and events, whilst connecting with the wider community.
